(I had to spend a lot of time messing around with tiletypes a couple months ago for a project. Which you'll probably want to do, because tiletypes doesn't paint the proper orientation for connected smoothed walls, it just paints them all as pillars, which looks ugly. The only way around that is with stone, where you can optionally use "paint stone " instead of "paint material stone," so you can use "paint stone limestone" or "paint stone gabbro." However, "paint stone" can't change the type of constructed tiles, so if you want to turn a constructed log up stair into a limestone up stair, you need to do: paint material stoneĪlso, weirdly, it seems like "paint stone" defaults to painting smooth stone, so you need to use "paint special normal" to get it to paint roughly-hewn stone. However, if you still need the floor removed, q -> x remove/undo construction, and d -> n designate construction for removal. The only thing you cant do is designate both at the same timeyouve got to build the floor first. Yeah, when you specify a material, you can only really specify a material class-like stone or soil-and it'll use whatever specific material type would be appropriate for that biome at that depth. You can build a table (or a bed, or a chair, or what-have-you) on the same tile as you construct a floor. Kitfox Discord #modding-discussion channelīronzemurder and Oilfurnace (illustrated)
